Overview

The Sundarbans is the largest forested forest in the world and the largest mangrove forest in the coastal environment. In 1997, Sundarban was recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Sundarbans is a vast forest in the coastal region of the Bay of Bengal and this unique forest area extends across Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Patuakhali and Barguna.

The tour covers mainly the Sundarbans of Bagerhat area. It covers the spots named Karamjal, Harbaria and Katka. Karamjal is near of Mongla of Bagerhat. There is a breeding center for deer and crocodile under the forest department. Harbaria is other significant spot in Sundarbans where the traveler can move into the forest through walking trail way. Katka is one of the beautiful neat and clean sea beach at the end of Sundarbans to the south. The total trip is conducted on board of nice ship with proper security and permission from the forest department.

Itinerary

Start

You’ll start from Dhaka at the evening.

Day-1

You’ll reach at Mongla or Khulna early in the morning.
You’ll board on ship directly and the journey will be started towards the Sundarban. You’ll get refreshed and take your breakfast on ship and enjoy the trip. Before lunch you’ll visit Karamjal.
After lunch you’ll visit Harbaria.
You’ll have your dinner and night hold in Forest Range.

Day-2

Early in the morning you’ll visit the Katka.
After breakfast, you’ll start to get back Mongla.
From mongla you’ll start for Dhaka at night.

End

You’ll reach in Dhaka early in the morning.

Tips

This package is suitable for Winter and Spring. Sundarbans trip is not suitable in summer or rainy season. Also the cyclone-prone season should be avoided to travel in the Sundarbans.

Minimum 50% of declared price shall be paid to confirm reservation at least 7 days prior of the travel date.
Another 25% of declared price shall be paid 48 hours prior of the travel date.
Rest of the amount shall be paid before completion of the tour.
For customized tour the reservation policy is upon discussion.

50% of the Reservation Fee shall be paid back if the client cancels tour more than 72 hours prior of the travel date.
No refund if the client cancels tour 72 hours prior or less than 72 hours prior of the travel date.

Payment is welcome in Cash or through Bank or Mobile Banking (bKash, Nagad etc.)
