The Sundarbans is the largest forested forest in the world and the largest mangrove forest in the coastal environment. In 1997, Sundarban was recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Sundarbans is a vast forest in the coastal region of the Bay of Bengal and this unique forest area extends across Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Patuakhali and Barguna.
The tour covers mainly the Sundarbans of Bagerhat area. It covers the spots named Karamjal, Harbaria and Katka. Karamjal is near of Mongla of Bagerhat. There is a breeding center for deer and crocodile under the forest department. Harbaria is other significant spot in Sundarbans where the traveler can move into the forest through walking trail way. Katka is one of the beautiful neat and clean sea beach at the end of Sundarbans to the south. The total trip is conducted on board of nice ship with proper security and permission from the forest department.
